Blockchain Traceability
The bottle in your hand
can tell you its life.
Most provenance claims are marketing. This one is a permanent record. Every Gotta unit leaves our floor with its own passport, a token minted at sealing, carrying five production events written to the chain as they occurred.
Label Passport Simulation
This QR is printed directly on the back of every unit, accompanied by the code in high-contrast text for effortless lookup.

How it works
Four steps, and none of them
require an app or login.
- 01
We write as we work
Each of the five production stages is signed and written to a public chain at the moment it happens: intake weight at the gate, mill temperature, ferment duration, days in oak, and the fill. Not typed up afterwards from memory.
- 02
The unit gets a token
At sealing, every individual unit is minted against its lot. Bottle 147 of 940 is a separate token from bottle 148, so what you scan is your bottle's true history, not generic brand copy.
- 03
The label carries the code
That token becomes a human-readable code and an SVG QR on the back label. No specialized app, no account, no crypto wallet: a simple smartphone camera and standard browser.
- 04
Anyone can check the maths
Every event on a passport links to its block transaction on Polygon PoS. You do not have to take our word for the grower's name or the resting duration; you can read the public block explorer directly.
Verification & Transparency
It proves the record is intact
Once an event is anchored on chain, it cannot be altered without leaving evidence. The sequence, timestamps, temperatures, and identities published at the time of production are cryptographically immutable.
It does not replace integrity
A blockchain faithfully records whatever data is committed. What makes Gotta passports meaningful is that the grower is named and verified, our stone mills are open to visitors, and third-party laboratories attest to our chemistry.
Production passports are anchored on Polygon PoS. Demonstration codes shown on this site showcase the production pipeline structure.
